            In the summer of 2018, Jord visited Randy at his home in Lakeview, OR.  At the time, Randy was expressing interest in using some of his money to invest in something that would help change lives. Jord mentioned the art collective wanting to reorganize after it lost its facility. The road to becoming an established 501(c)(3) was set in motion. Randy had promised $10,000 in seed money, and then “after significant progress”, he promised another $10,000. The collective worked hard to become a 501(c)(3), and by July of 2021, the paperwork was submitted to be recognized by the IRS as a Charitable Non-profit. Randy passed away shortly thereafter, and so he never knew of the collective becoming recognized as a 501(c)(3). His daughters who inherited his estate did, however, uphold his promise, and they followed through with the subsequent $10,000 donation.
