* On the day of the fest, we’ll be inviting Davis-area folks to share/sell their prints and zines and we’ll have some print and zine related activities throughout the event (details tba). If you are a Davis resident and would like to share or sell your work, please submit an application at thirdspacedavis.org/zinefest2025. We don’t plan to turn anyone away or to charge a vendor fee, but it may just mean that we will have limited space for each participant. And we are specifically focusing on local artists. There are more details in the application.
This is our first event like this so we’re starting small and may not get too fancy, but we’re excited about prints and zines as vehicles for sharing information and ideas and art and more! We’re dreaming about all the possible ways that paper can help us connect with each other off-line again. We look forward to making space for people to come together and then we’ll see what happens!
* Never made a print of zine before? We’ll be hosting workshops at Third Space leading up to the fest so you’ll have something to share! Save those dates. We’ll share more information about how to sign up soon. Keep an eye out!
